Help keep independent anime content alive

I am Masab Farooque, and I run Waifu Pulse on my own. Every review, every news post, every spoiler writeup on this site comes from me watching the actual episodes and reading the actual chapters. There is no team, no budget, no one else behind this. Just one person who cares about anime writing for people who feel the same way.

I have been watching anime since I was young and writing about it for over six years.

What Makes Waifu Pulse Different

Everything here is written by someone who actually watches the shows. No AI tools, no copy pasting from other sites, no reviewing anime I have not seen.

When I write about an episode, I watched it. When I review a manga arc, I read it. That sounds like a low bar, but it is surprisingly rare in this space. It takes more time, but it means you get real opinions from someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

Google Made Things Hard for Small Creators

Google keeps changing how they rank content, and the changes usually hurt small independent creators while rewarding larger sites that produce machine-written articles at scale. It is backwards, but that is the reality right now.

How You Can Help

Support on Patreon

If you like what I do here and want to help keep it going, you can support me on Patreon. Nothing is going behind a paywall. The Patreon is just a way to help cover running costs and show that this kind of content is worth supporting. Even small amounts help a lot.

Why This Matters

Most anime content online is low effort recycled material from sites that do not care about anime. They write about it because it gets clicks, not because anyone there actually watches it. That pushes down the work of people who genuinely care about the medium.

Your support helps keep independent anime content alive and gives you a place where you can find real opinions and actual coverage of the shows you love.

Thanks for reading and for caring about anime content that comes from someone who actually understands what makes these shows worth talking about.
