The story behind Waifu Pulse

Waifu Pulse is an anime and manga blog started and run by Masab Farooque. The whole thing began with one person who spent a huge chunk of his childhood watching anime and never really stopped.

Masab started watching anime when he was 7 years old. Dragon Ball Z was the first show that got him hooked, and since then he has kept up with pretty much everything the medium has put out. Over the years, watching turned into writing. He ran an anime blog called Replay Jutsu for years, which built up a real readership, but Google updates eventually wiped out most of its traffic. Rather than fighting a losing battle, he decided to start fresh. That is where Waifu Pulse came from.

Meet the Writer

Masab Farooque

Masab has been writing about anime, manga, and pop culture for over six years. Every article, review, and spoiler on this site is written by him directly. No ghostwriters, no AI tools, no copy pasting from other sites. He watches the episodes, reads the chapters, and writes about them because he genuinely cares about the medium.

Why Waifu Pulse Exists

There are a lot of anime sites online, but most of them either rehash news from bigger outlets or push out reviews without actually watching the shows. Waifu Pulse exists to be something different. The goal is honest content from someone who actually watches everything he writes about.

If a show is great, that gets said clearly. If a show is disappointing, that gets said too. No sugarcoating, no chasing clicks, no pretending everything is a masterpiece.
